How Consignment Inventory Works:
Supplier inventory in PPM Fulfillment’s warehouse is patterned by the usage of our customers. When a customer places an order with PPM, and they do not have any of the items in their inventory, then PPM will pull items from the Vendor stock to fulfill the order. At the end of every week PPM Fulfillment sends out a usage report to the customer (and Consignment Supplier) detailing the vendor inventory shipped during that week. The suppliers will bill the customer from this report at current negotiated pricing for the items. This is the common method of inventory management and shipment through PPM Fulfillment.
